If they do let me know, I am 100% interested. I only have 1 baby! What is wrong with me. I guess its from 25 years of waking up myself, even if it is for work or something. Waking up at usually a reasonable time and therefore being able to cope with a day. But with an 8 month old baby who has decided to wake up earlier and earlier - the mornings aren’t getting easier!

Oh I know “that’s what its like when you have children” - you don’t need to tell me that. I am not complaining - just tired.

So if someone out there has some form of energy saving technology designed for mothers - I will have it. Save up some of my sons energy and use it up for myself. Now if only I could do that!

My 7 month old son is crawling everywhere. Pulling himself up on everything, grabbing anything he can get his hands on. What does he like best? Wires and lamps, computers and speakers!

You don’t notice until you have a baby crawling around how much technology you have around the house. How many wires going into how many different items. All of these items using up a countless amount of energy. So what are we teaching our children, our future?

Well we aren’t really helping are we. We have televisions, computers, Xbox’s, Playstation’s, DVD players, HD TVs, Ipods, DVDs - the list is endless. All these things needed energy, electricity and our time! And our children are getting sucked into it at infancy. They are attracted to it from 7 months old! It is what they aim for and will continue aiming for.

And yet we are constantly told they are our future, they are the future of this world, this planet. But we and they need to make energy our future and our present. We can’t always think - we will see to that tomorrow. As our childrens lives need constant attention, 24/7 so does the worlds.

Despite a very good night sleep, Seth, my gorgeous son was not happy again this morning. Those teeth really must be painful. With only a short nap this morning I don’t think he has ever been so miserable. Very clingy and sad, once again, poor thing. Can only imagine how painful and uncomfortable it must be! Though these teething powders from the Chemist work wonders in soothing and calming him. If you’ve not tried them - you must! Natural and homoeopathic they are just brilliant.

But after lunch and a longer sleep this afternoon he is contented and happy.

Now watching Happy Feet - for some reason he just loves it. When that is on nothing else interests him, he will just sit and watch it! Anything else he will stop occasionally and look at the TV but then get bored and start moaning a little. Granted I do love the film, the music is just brilliant!

Had my friend Tammy come by for lunch also, glad I can spend some time with her. Difficult to see her go through the hard time she is at the moment, with custody problems with her 2 daughters. It really is not a nice or easy time. But she does amazingly!

Hopefully a nice romantic evening ahead also with a meal cooked by my husband and a quiet evening in. And finally a free weekend together when he doesn’t have to work! Feels so long since we have had a normal weekend. So here is to a lovely sunny day again tomorrow, some fresh air and family time!

Write about anthing!! Where do you start?
My day today - housework, a 7 month old son who wouldn’t have a nap. With four teeth coming through to join the two he already has, he is not a happy boy. Crawling and standing against things he is constantly hurting himself. So today was no different, falling head first onto the tv cabinet in between that and his walker, not good at all, poor thing. So he wasn’t a happy boy this morning.

But….once daddy got home all was ok. He was happy and laughing. Lovely trip out for lunch and wander into town, though extremely cold! :-s

But ended the day with a bath, which he loves. Gets surprisingly excited when water splashes in his face! And fast asleep by 7.30. He can sometimes be just too good!

So the day is ending with another episode of Heroes, once again getting very confusing!! And hopefully a full nights sleep and rest until another day starts. Enjoy your rest, and make the most of it! I plan to.

I wish it was that simplistic, but at least saving energy does contribute to achieving this pretty picture! So, when governmental campaigns urge you to do your bit for the environment to prevent atrocious amounts of carbon emissions, record high levels of air pollution, and save animal species from becoming extinct, you probably feel empowered by good resolutions to help as much as possible, right?
