Well here in the lovely South West of England where Enigin PLC headquarters run from the weather has, no surprise, taken a turn. From the gorgeous. sunny, very hot days to the cloudy, dull, drizzly weather we are now having.
I must admit that for myself I am enjoying it being cooler but no doubt in a week or two I will wish for it to be hot and sunny again! The weather just can’t win can it. Most of us don’t really know how we would prefer it to be. We wouldn’t be happy if it was always sunny or always raining.
And with climate change really starting to take hold now we can see here in the UK the affect it is truly having on our weather systems. The dramatic changes in weather and the unpredictability too. The forecasters seem to be having a much harder job now then even a year ago. The weather is so temperamental.
As I have said before this year so far has seen a much hotter summer then we have had here in the UK for many years. It is only the beginning of July and already I can honestly say that we have had a good chunk of proper summer weather.
We had snow back in the winter for a week, we have had floods, stormy weather, torrential rain, beaming sunshine, scorching temperatures and humidity to the point of making it difficult to go about daily activities. All things we are not used to experiencing in the UK, at least not all within one year. Well actually only the first half of a year!
SO what is to come? What more affect it climate change going to have on our weather systems and how are we going to control it? As you may see from some of Enigins other blogs, we have tips and advice on how you personally or as a business can start making a difference. Become energy efficient, save money and energy, take a part in helping curb climate change.
